Daily Grind on June 23rd, 2003
A regular Daily Grind on a very hot summer day. I am in the middle of sommer jobbing, and I had my almost last guitar lesson for this school year. All in all it was an ok, but very exhausting day.
Participants: chip, Dianuschka, Katie, Kozzi, Lauren, Lele, stacee*, Tonaka

My alarm went off at 3.50 am. *yikes* My radio alarm played Robbie Williams “Undone". Took me 4 minutes to manage to crawl out of bed.

My doggie slept in my bed again with me. See the blood spots? Poor doggie is in heat.

Unfortunatly my batteries gave in, couldn´t take any piccies at the post office before leaving. But brother came to my rescue and brought new batteries. I started to deliver mail left to the big white building in the middle.

I am in a building sorting in the mail, into the different mailboxes. They belong to doctors med mostly. A LOT of mail and X-rays. The yellow thing is my mailbag by the way.

And more.

But…there are two more bags full with mail, waiting to be delivered. I packed those bags in the morning, and a post car brought them out to my area.

In an old building. I really like the staircases! I am going up to some agencies.

I am done finally and going to the bus station. The whole street that you can see on here, got mail from me.

The bus was packed, so no piccies from inside. I am on my way back to the post office. It was incredible hot! 35 degrees Celsius.

My desk. Mailbags are already emptied, on the left, and waiting for the next day. There´s some new mail to be sorted in. But, as it was my last day in that area, I don´t have to do that anymore.

My guitar teacher brining my guitar into tune. We talked about digital cameras right after that, and what a huge advantage they are. It was really too hot to play guitar anyway.

Back at home. I was supposed to go to a guitar concert that evening from a guitar colleague *for a lack of a better word*, but was really way to tired. I regret it badly that I didn´t go. Took a “bubble” bath instead, not really a babble bath though. There´s only some skin fattening lotion in there for my dermatitis. It was the most relaxing thing after a long long day.

After almost 20 hours on my feet, I am off to bed, and I was not alone. Doggie couldn´t leave me alone, she came in shortly after I took that pic.
